Hello HLAGH members! Join our exciting 2nd annual event, “The Houston Roadshow,” an alternative to the Business Expo. The Programs and Events Committee has crafted a unique experience where allied members can engage with general managers at their hotels through one-hour sessions. Each session accommodates 6 allied members.
The association will handle meeting coordination, transportation, an added bonus is that participating hotels may contribute by offering breakfast, lunch, or even a brief happy hour.
The meeting format includes a roundtable introduction, giving each allied member the chance to introduce the services they offer and connect with the correct individual at the hotel. “The Houston Roadshow” is a proactive and innovative solution providing excellent engagement opportunities for our members.
This event has limited space and a fee of $500 per area, you can select multiple areas.

Join HLAGH for an important and timely Hurricane Preparedness Event featuring Jeff Lindner, Director of the Hydrologic Operations Division and Meteorologist at the Harris County Flood Control District.
Jeff will provide valuable insights on how to prepare your hotel, home, and family for hurricane season. He’ll discuss the key weather-related threats facing Harris County, how the county is addressing these risks, and what you can do to stay safe and ready. He will also share updates on a cutting-edge real-time flood forecast system currently in development, along with actionable guidance on how to prepare for and respond to severe weather events.
Joining the Harris County Flood Control District in 2004 as the District’s first meteorologist is one of many precedents set by Jeff Lindner. In his primary role as Director of the District’s Flood Operations Program, Jeff implements regular communication with the National Weather Service and the Harris County Office of Emergency Management (HCOEM) during times of flooding while monitoring 154 rainfall and stage gages and collecting data at over 400 bridges located on many of Harris County’s 2,500 miles of channel.
Don’t miss this essential event for anyone living or working in the Houston area.
