Dr. Cristian Morosan, Assistant Dean for Student Affairs, Donald H. Hubbs Professor, and Director of Undergraduate Digital Education, will explore how emerging technologies—such as mobile platforms, biometric systems, and digital innovation—are transforming guest experiences while reshaping operational efficiency, security, and employee engagement. With more than 30 years of industry involvement and over 200 published works, Dr. Morosan offers a forward-looking perspective on how hospitality organizations can responsibly adopt technology to stay competitive in a rapidly evolving landscape.
Joining him is Dr. Ningqiao Li, Assistant Professor of Hospitality Management, whose expertise lies in visual marketing, digital branding, consumer decision-making, and data-driven strategies. Dr. Li will share insights on how hospitality brands can leverage machine learning, computer vision, and digital storytelling to influence guest perceptions, strengthen brand loyalty, and support employee growth in an increasingly tech-driven environment. Her experience spans both academic research and hands-on industry roles in hotel operations and marketing.
Together, our speakers will connect innovation, branding, and talent development—offering attendees practical insights on how the future of hospitality is being shaped today.
