Scott Joslove is President and CEO of the Texas Hotel & Lodging Association. He joined the association in 2000 and since that time, THLA has grown from the fourth largest state hotel association to the largest hotel association in the nation. During his tenure at THLA, Scott and his staff have successfully passed every legislative bill offered over the last ten years, and they have led the effort to defeat legislative initiatives that would have saddled lodging operators with additional surcharges, taxes, and burdensome regulations.

The Houston Arts Alliance is a local arts and culture organization whose principal work is to implement the City of Houston’s vision, values, and goals for its arts grantmaking and civic art investments.

Houston First Corporation (HFC) is Houston’s official destination management organization with a mission to create value, advance economic prosperity and promote the Houston region.

A local government organization, Houston First owns the Hilton Americas-Houston Hotel, manages 10 city-owned properties including:  George R. Brown Convention Center, Miller Outdoor Theater, Wortham Theater Center, Jones Hall, Lynn Wyatt Square for the Performing Arts.  In addition, HFC also developed the Avenida Houston Entertainment and Convention District.

The Harris County Sports Authority provides oversight to world-class, professional sports venues and promotes the region for sports-related events, which enhance economic development and bring a better quality of life to residents.

Officer Robles has worked at Eastside patrol, in the Crime Reduction Unit, Investigators First Responders Unit,  Differential Response Unit, and patrol. Officer Robles alongside his unit has launched a community service program called Alianza Contra el Crimen. This initiative would take HPS’s resources to multiple communities in the Eastside Command in a form of a community forum, resource fair, and static displays.

Sgt. Tracy Hicks has been with the Houston Police Department (HPD) for twenty-five years, eleven years in Auto Theft. Prior to joining HPD, he was a US Army Apache Helicopter pilot for eleven years.
