The span of control for this office includes the Homeland Security Command\, Professional Development Command\, and Organizational Support Command. \nIn addition to her regular assignments\, EAC Anderson serves as the legislative liaison for the department\, representing HPD at the State Capitol during the legislative session and assisting as an instructor in various training classes. Her duties also include representing the department and the Chief of Police at ceremonies\, civic meetings\, city council meetings\, and disciplinary hearings. Officer Robles alongside his unit has launched a community service program called Alianza Contra el Crimen. This initiative would take HPS’s resources to multiple communities in the Eastside Command in a form of a community forum\, resource fair\, and static displays. \nSgt. Tracy Hicks has been with the Houston Police Department (HPD) for twenty-five years\, eleven years in Auto Theft. Prior to joining HPD\, he was a US Army Apache Helicopter pilot for eleven years.
